About Us Our Story Spanky's Spa - inspired from "Spanky" my little YorkiePoo. He was terrorized every time I needed to bring him to a groomer, and out of my complete love and loyalty to him, I made it my goal to go back to school and learn how to groom him myself. It was a long road, working a full time job and going to school, all while trying to master a craft that I believe can use a gentler touch and a more loving approach.
