About
Over 67 Years of Excellence: The Rex Glass & Mirror Journey Rex Glass & Mirror was founded in 1958 under the original name Rex Paint & Glass. Joseph Rectenwald and his sons Joe Jr., Donald (Wils), and Charlie started our fledgling company on a quiet stretch of R19 in Peters Township, a small strip of land that would one day become a commercial hub. By 1980, our name had changed to Rex Glass & Mirror to reflect the shift away from paint and towards residential, commercial, and auto glass.
