OUR STORY The Day Spa Industry was created by Noel de Caprio, in the early 1970s. In 1960, Noel de Caprio was one of four partners who owned an upscale salon, HRH (Her Royal Highness), in Stamford, CT. It was there that she introduced the “Day of Beauty” a unique, day-long experience combining traditional hair and nail services with facials and massages. After a glowing New York Times review of "The Day" she and her Day Spa concept became a national sensation.
