About Melissa Melissa has been designing spaces, starting with her mother’s kitchen at the age of 7. She still remembers the satisfaction she felt when she placed her mother’s heirloom scarf on the kitchen floor to create a “walkway” and give more “flow” to the space. Her mother felt otherwise! Melissa is the founder and creative director of MBM Design. She offers her clients full service residential and commercial interior design coupled with strategic project management services.
