MEET JOHN TOMASSETTI Throughout my life I've overcome addiction and mental illness, being homeless, raised in poverty and coming from a broken home here in Connecticut. For the longest time I had no purpose or goals in my life. There were so many times I didn't know where I would sleep next or where my next meal would come from.
