About Us History Hollow Tree Self Storage was founded in 2019 by four partners local to Darien, CT – Robert Wood, Tim Wood, John Hertz & Paul Hertz. They have been in the storage industry since 1990, owning Affordable Storage in Norwalk, CT. Upon their discovery of a need for additional storage among the Darien community and surrounding towns, they found this perfectly located plot of land ideal for meeting the storage needs of the community and its local businesses.
