About Us Nuccia, owner of Gelatissimo, developed her passion for gelato when she was just a little girl in Como, Italy. Since then, it has been a dream of hers to open a gelateria of her own. She began learning the artistry of gelato making from her father-in-law, and after moving to the U.S., she quickly realized that there were not many authentic gelaterias around, something she deeply loved about Italy. Gelatissimo became her opportunity to bring authentic gelato to the U.S.
