“I had been teaching Yoga for almost six years, and after seeing so many people I cared about open their own studio and be successful, I decided to try it myself.” On September 12, 2022, Gandiva Yoga rolled out mats for the first class, in a little yellow house at 101 Emerson Street in New Haven, CT. I didn’t have a lot of money saved to rent a space. I didn’t know if I would be successful in business, or if I would even enjoy owning a Yoga studio. But I knew I had to start somewhere.
