About Us About Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market Dan Wuchter has been a part of the farmers market since it opened in 1955. He was 15 years old at the time. Growing up on a chicken farm, Dan was used to hard work and started selling eggs door-to-door when was just six or seven years old. These days, Dan’s wife Laurie keeps the gears turning at the farmers market. Dan and Laurie also own a few of the businesses within the market.
