Our Story In 1995, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse on Westheimer opened its doors at the site once occupied by The Strawberry Patch, the family’s first restaurant established in 1976 by Harris, Chris, and Greg Pappas. It was this rich heritage of the Pappas family (in the restaurant business since 1967) that set the steakhouse on a trajectory defined by immeasurable care—for its guests, for every detail of their dining experience, and for the talented team that brings it all to life.
