About
Part of Tampa’s history… It all began when José and Carlotta Diaz emigrated from Spain to the United States in 1924. They decided to open a bakery on Nebraska Avenue in Ybor City named La Paloma. Their business prospered in that location until WWII. In 1950, their son, Joseph Diaz, joined the business and decided to move the operation to North Howard Avenue under the name Olympia. We have continued to flourish in this location since.
