In 2014 I had a toddler + full time job + a daily Manhattan commute. I lacked the time + bandwidth + caffeine required to keep my home clean. I was a zombie on the PATH train at both 8am and 8pm. My housekeeping requirements were pretty basic: clean enough for Mom to visit without killing me, lol! I hired a company who brought filthy mops and towels into my home. I hired a guy who brought toxic chemicals that scratched the surfaces of my home.
